Our Botanical Shield makes use of plant-based oils known for their pest-repelling properties. *Andiroba Oil contains chemicals called limonoids. These chemicals seem to repel and kill mosquitoes and other insects. Other chemicals in andiroba might help the skin to heal faster from wounds. Both Sunflower Oil and Lavender have helpful compounds that **soothe inflammation, which can alleviate the itch and pain from insect bites. Geranium contains ***phytochemicals that prevent insect bites and help treat them, while Citronella has long been known to ward off common biters.
Before going outside, simply spray our Botanical Shield on your child's exposed skin and rub until it covers the whole area.
