Baby Registry FAQ

How does it work?

A baby registry is similar to a wishlist of items a recipient wants to receive from friends and family. However, unlike a wishlist, it is made public.

How to create my own baby registry?

  1. Sign up or login to your account.
  2. Click on "My registries" on the My Account page.
  3. Enter the name of the registry.
  4. Click "Save".

A user can make multiple registries under an account. But the user needs to pick one registry as the default registry. All items that will be added will go to the set default registry.

The user can also modify or delete a registry.

How do I share my baby registry to others?

Once the registry is created, the user can choose to send the link directly via email, or share it via Facebook, Google+ or Twitter. All the recipients need to do is to click on the link to view your registry.

How can I view baby registries of others?

Under My Account page, click on "Browse other registries" so you may access other people's registries to inspire your own registry.

Click on view.

How do I purchase an item for the registry owner?

  1. Sign up or login. This step cannot be skipped as the system needs to track who made the purchase offer for the item.
  2. Click "Browse Registries" under "My Account page"
  3. Search and click on the target registry.
  4. Copy and paste the displayed URL onto a new browser window or tab.
  5. Click on "Offer this item" found beneath the item name.
  6. Refresh the page for the items offered to reflect in your Shopping Cart
  7. Follow usual checkout procedure to purchase the item. If the item does not appear in the cart, refresh the page.

The item will automatically deduct from the registry and the name of the one offered to buy the item will appear in the registry owner's page.

Note that offering the item to be bought without going through the checkout process will still mark the item as offered and deducted from the registry owner's page.

How do I know which items from my registry have been offered to be bought for me?

Just go to the target registry and click on "Show bought products info". You can also see the name of the person who bought the item for you.
